Welder Training / Qualification / Certification PROWELD specialises in welding training, welder qualification, and providing fully accredited welding training programs customised to suit each trainee's needs. All training is endorsed by the Training Accreditation Council of Western Australia, is delivered within the Metal & Engineering Training Package MEM05 guidelines, and is conducted in a work simulated environment utilising equipment and consumables as per current industry usage. Proweld focuses predominantly on "ONE ON ONE" training, therefore we are able to increase welding time during courses and produce more experienced and suitably qualified welders. Costs for Safety Management Services will vary considerably depending on the complexity of the advice or documentation required. Proweld training charges an initial retainer of $1500, which covers the initial discussion of your requirements and preparation of a draft Safety Management Plan. This also covers reasonable phone and email support for a period of six months from retention. Safety Induction Training Ensure your employees are aware of OHS laws and your company´s approach to safety. Promote health and safety in your workplace. Safety induction training is aimed at providing new employees with an overview of Occupational Health and Safety principles that will encourage them to work more safely. Safety Induction training is designed for all new employees. This course is also a useful refresher for existing employees too. WORKPLACE TRAINING & ASSESSMENT: Proweld training & Inspection offers a range of training courses primarily to the construction and mining industries Oil & Gas. More detailed information including individual competency profiles with course structures and delivery strategies are available from the office. Fees will vary, depending on the training options selected and the structure of the course. Clients are requested to call the office to discuss their training requirements and establish an appropriate training plan to meet those needs. Short courses, such as the 'Confined Space Entry' are generally charged at a head rate payable in advance. Corporate or group bookings may be negotiated at a day rate. More complex competency training such as Cranes Rigging & Scaffolding require the establishment of individual training plans and incur a $200 'establishment fee'. This fee is deducted from the final assessment charge. VERIFICATION OF COMPETENCY   Proweld training & Inspection, recommends to all clients that they initiate a system of 'Competency Verification' regularly assessing existing workers and capturing new employees to identify any gaps in existing certification skills and to identify opportunities for employee up skilling. Proweld training & Inspection maintains a team of accredited trainers & assessors with an extensive industry knowledge base. These trainers & assessors are available to perform 'VOCs' for your staff at a reasonable rate. GAP ASSESSMENTS For some workers, particularly those with older 'paper tickets' this up-date process is identifying gaps in existing knowledge and skill levels.
